This year, I want to keep reading more often, and I have a ton of science fiction and fantasy books on my TBR list! In the spirit of all the SF/F topics I write (and potentially will write later), I created a list of science fiction and fantasy books I plan to read in the coming year.
While in college, I didn’t have much time to continue with my own reading list. I read quite a bit of other books for school, but I barely managed to chip away at my massive TBR list over the past few years. I thought this project might help with that!
These are just some of the books on my ever-growing list. Hopefully, by next month, I’ll have jumped into at least one of them!
1. Frankenstein – Mary Shelley
2. The Way of Kings – Brandon Sanderson (I actually haven’t read any Sanderson yet *gasp*, but a friend recommended I start here)
3. The Priory of the Orange Tree – Samantha Shannon
4. The Name of the Wind – Patrick Rothfuss (this same friend read this book a few years ago and highly recommended it!)
Some inspiration for this new project comes from WWW Wednesday at Taking on A World of Words and The Rearead Tag from bookforager!
I also found some reading challenges for the year courtesy of The Candid Cover. Right now, my goal includes getting at least two of these read by the end of the year (most of them will take quite a bit of time!).
How many of these have you read? Did you enjoy reading them or not so much?
