Writers of the Future Contest Deadlines

Have you ever wanted to submit to the Writers of the Future contest? Want to know the deadlines and the rules, but also some tips? Look no further! Check out the contest deadlines and more down below.

The Writers of the Future contest has four quarterly deadlines: December 31st, March 31st, June 30th, and September 30th. That means each quarter starts January 1st, April 1st, July 1st, or October 1st, taking up the entire year. Miss a deadline? Fear not! Stories also roll over into the next quarter, so you can submit at any time.

The contest looks for complete stories up to 17,000 words. The contest is also for amateur writers. You cannot submit if you have published a novel or have professionally published three short stories.
