I’m pleased to announce that on July 23rd, I will be hosting a poetry workshop LIVE on Zoom for anyone who is interested in joining!
The topic of the workshop is PROSE POEMS, so for anyone who might be wondering what exactly a prose poem is, or you’re interested in writing your own, check it out. I’ll be updating the blog with a Zoom link as the deadline approaches, and I will be creating a Google form that will be announced on The Aurora Journal’s Twitter. The workshop will demonstrate how to incorporate language, rhythm, imagery, and more into this type of form, as well as noted examples that will help get you started.
The Aurora Journal enjoys surrealism in the works they accept, so this workshop will also focus on surrealist elements in poetry for those who are also interested in this genre.
In the meantime, check out The Aurora Journal, including when they’re open for submissions here.
Also, check out my published piece “Fairyland” that was published in the Summer 2021 issue!
Keep on the lookout for more updates, as well as the Google form coming soon!
